(WJLA/CNN/Meredith) -- A 34-year-old Maryland man is now a convicted sex offender after he asked two teen sisters to perform sex acts, according to authorities.
Daniel Dickson was found guilty on Tuesday of the solicitation of a minor and will be sentenced to up to 10 years in prison, WJLA reports.
In June, he stopped his minivan and asked a 15-year-old girl and her 19-year-old sister to hop in his vehicle, as they were walking near a middle school in Silver Spring, Maryland.
He then got out of his van and approached the sisters, while propositioning them both for oral sex, according to court documents.
One of the sisters called 911 and Dickson sped off. The other sister recorded the man driving away, and captured the license plate number on video to show police.
"They called 911, they caught the license plate on video and today we have a conviction against what seems to be a child predator,” Ramon Korionoff, a spokesperson for the Montgomery County State's Attorney's Office, told WJLA.
When officers arrested Dickson, they reportedly found an array of condoms, body spray, and a twin-size mattress in the back of his Mazda minivan.
"It looks like the minivan was set up for being a roving sex chamber,” Korionof said. "He had already – on several occasions – parked outside this middle school and seemingly observed the patterns of children walking around the school. We’re just glad that this predator is off the streets.”
According to charging documents obtained by WJLA, Dickson confessed to routinely cruising through neighborhoods and browsing Facebook to “pick up girls” regardless of their age.
Dickson is scheduled for sentencing on March 9.
