Students at a university in Australia secretly masturbated into shampoo or conditioner bottles left by women in bathrooms, a new report has claimed.
That’s just one of a number of shocking rituals that allegedly take place in residential university colleges across the country, according to the report released by End Rape on Campus Australia.
The Red Zone Report, a 200-page document set to be released at the beginning of Orientation Week at the University of Sydney, claims one in 17 women have experienced rape, attempted rape or sexual assault in the last year.

It also made several other revelations regarding the bizarre rituals that take place at university campuses such as:
Male students masturbating into female students’ shampoo, conditioner or shower gel products
According to a student from St Andrew’s, male students would often masturbate into the container, resulting in girls washing their hair with a mixture of semen and the product.
New female students were made to drink wine from male students’ pants
A female student from one of the residential colleges revealed how new female students would take part in the ‘run the gauntlet’ challenge.
This would involve them running down a corridor lined with male residents on either side, who each had cask wine sacks in their trousers with nozzles hanging out of them.
The young women would then be required to kneel before each male and ‘drink from his sack’.

Male and female freshers were doused in buckets of rotting fish
A woman named Gabbie was quoted in the report as having undergone a weird initiation ritual while at St John’s college at the University of Sydney.
She said: ‘All the male and female freshers were locked in the uni-sex bathrooms. We were then completely doused with buckets of dead rotting fish. It was revolting and it stunk.’
Male freshers were made to drink beer from the end of other students’ penises
Male freshers would be made to engage in a ritual known as ‘bid bathing’ where they would kneel on the ground while another student would place his penis into their mouth and a third would pour beer down it into their mouth.

Male students would post pictures of themselves on Snapchat holding the underwear of girls they had slept with
The report claims that men in the college would send Snapchat screenshots of themselves holding the lingerie of girls they had allegedly slept with, along with captions like ‘the reigning heavyweight champion’ or ‘heavyweight’.
Male students would play a ‘game’ with the main rule being if a female student opened a door, it would be taken as consent
Students at John XXIII college would allegedly engage in a ‘game’ called ‘rock-spidering’ where they would knock on the door of fresher students and if they opened the door, this was taken as consent to have sex.
The ‘game’ reportedly resulted in several sexual assaults in 2011, with one student claiming that she once opened her bedroom door to find an unconscious female student laying there, after allegedly being raped, bruised and photographed.

Students were forced to drink vomit, faeces and urine
As part of humiliating initiation activities, freshers would be expected to drink mixtures of beer, vomit, cow faeces and urine in a competition.
They would also allegedly be forced to eat red and green foods before drinking sessions so their vomit would look like the college colours.
Students were encouraged to broadcast sexual activity online
According to the report, students would be encouraged to post embarrassing and graphic details online about other students’ sexual activity during an annual event at St John’s College called ‘the purge’.
While in St Andrew’s College, the details of ‘hook-ups’ were allegedly broadcast over PA systems and slideshows of ’embarrassing’ sexual encounters were shown during Orientation Week, the report said.
The University of Sydney has issued a statement on their website in response to the claims made in the report.
