An Allegheny County couple is accused of running a brothel out of their apartment with three children living there to pay for heroin, according to reports.
Brittany Dawn Patrick, 26, is charged with prostitution and endangering the welfare of children, and her boyfriend, Lukas Roger Trout, 27, is wanted on endangering children and conspiracy charges, said the Pittsburgh Tribune-Reviews.
The couple have an 18-month-old child, and two children of a friend, ages 8 and 10, were also living in the home, authorities said.
KDKA reports Patrick told police she began having sex for money in the past three or four months to pay for heroin.
The investigation began in January after neighbors complained of "suspicious" men coming to the apartment during the day and night.
Police said they found an adult web site ad that Patrick placed looking for "older, generous gentlemen."
Patrick's arrest came after an undercover police officer posing as someone answering the web went to the home Friday, where she is accused of directing him to a bedroom, said the reports.
Patrick was charged and released on unsecured bail, said the report.
