BAKER – A 27-year-old man was charged with trafficking in methamphetamine after deputies executing a search warrant found him in the bedroom with a glass pipe in his hand.
The suspect also had a bag of meth in his pocket.
When questioned, he told Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office deputies that the drug in his pocket was meth and that the pipe was his and that he used it to consume meth, according to his arrest report.
Deputies then found several glass pipes, two empty bags and three glass bottles containing a blue liquid.
After being read his rights, the man told deputies he was a “hobbyist” and created his own bongs and glass pipes. He explained how he heated meth and inhaled it through the water to purify it, the report said.
He said he added powdered Kool-Aid for flavor.
