JUPITER’S moon Ganymede holds alien life and NASA is covering it up, according to wacky conspiracy theorists.

Renowned alien enthusiast Tyler Glockner – of YouTube channel secureteam10 – uploaded a video yesterday showing what appeared to be a black dome on the moon’s surface.

“We have a recent discovery of something very out of place – some would say artificial – planted down on the surface of Ganymede,” he said.

“A few people have described it as a massive, shiny, black dome, partially buried and yet sticking up high above the surface.

“Without having zoomed in, you can already see the object in question, completely jet black.

“It almost looks like that volcanic black glass and we can even see what appears to be the reflection of the sun glinting off the top of the shiny, black dome.”

Tyler goes on to rubbish claims it is merely a crater, by comparing it to one right next to the object.

“It would even appear to have a full structures sitting at the base of the object, it looks like a dome,” he adds.

Ganymede is the largest moon in the solar system and has been found to have Earth-like similarities – including being cocooned by a strong magnetic field.

Many of the 140,000 people who watched Tyler’s clip yesterday were quick to jump to conclusions.

“Interestingly, whenever NASA and the space community talk about potentially habitable planets, they always seem to point to Mars, Enceladus, and Europa as the most likely to currently support life,” one claimed.

“Why not Ganymede? Could they be trying to suppress intrigue in an attempt to hide something?”

Another went even further, saying: “That dome has to be proof of aliens.”

But a third came up with a more plausible explanation, saying: “It looks like a volcano with a huge crater.”

NASA’s official site describes the “dome” as the Khensu Crater.

Tyler also included a recording of a chilling sound coming from the moon, taken by the Galileo probe as it flew over it between 1995 and 2003.

The mystery sounds are thought to be the result of translating the moon’s interactions with Jupiter’s larger “magnetosphere”.
