Me- I have been controlling my diet and exercising more. I have gone from 215 lbs down to 189 lbs so far and I can now fit attractively into the Tank top Porky sent me.. :mrgreen:

Die at 65 or die at 95, choice for some of us is in our hands.. Being overweight is a major factor in longevity, whether that be from clogged arteries causing heart attacks, or increased blood pressure causing stroke, or possibly early onset diabetes..

Diabetes is no joke. I have an uncle with diabetes that recently had to have part of his foot amputated. Diabetes will fuck you up.

The key to good prostate health might be in your own hands: Ejaculating frequently may reduce your risk of prostate cancer, finds new research from the Boston University of Public Health.

The study looked at how ejaculation frequency affected prostate cancer risk over the course of 18 years.

It found that men ages 20 to 29 who ejaculated 21 times or more each month were 19 percent less likely to be diagnosed with prostate cancer than those who ejaculated less often, between 4 and 7 times per month.

And it wasn’t just young guys who saw the benefit: Men 40 to 49 who ejaculated at least 21 times per month reduced their risk of developing prostate cancer by 22 percent.

You are right about that.. We had a family friend who had his leg below the knee amputated from diabetes


I'm down about 20 lbs since November. Feels glacially slow for me but it's happening. Was diagnosed with high Blood Pressure and I just decided it was time...

A lot of these early symptoms can actually be reversed with some diet changes and some exercise.. You don't have to be a radical health nut either to just make a few positive changes..

Hey good work on the weight loss boys! That's awesome.. don't drink your calories (moderate beer-drinking being the exception :P ) is my biggest piece of advice for anyone trying to keep the extra LB's off.

Im still doing this, my progress has slowed a bit though.. I'm at 186 now.. But I still have a some good meals peppered in there from time to time so I don't feel like I have deprived myself..
