Geoffrey Ian Mckelvey, 53, was jailed by Martin County sheriff’s officials after the July 11 incidents.

Investigators went to a Target in the 2600 block of Northwest Federal Highway. A manager said a man in his 50s to 60s wearing a grey shirt, dark shorts and flip-flops was spotted “dropping his pants and exposing his genitals.” He also knocked stuff off a shelf.

A man identified as Mckelvey fit the description and was found at a home a little more than a mile away in the 2300 block of Bay Colony Court.

Mckelvey said his teachers told him “to go to Target and destroy items inside of the store,” the affidavit states.

He also said he dropped his pants and told a person to smooch his buttocks after a confrontation.

Marijuana and 11 pipes with THC resin turned up in his home. Mckelvey said two other people live with him, but said everything inside “was blessed to him by God and that they belonged to him.”

McKelvey, of the 2300 block of Bay Colony Court, was arrested on charges including exposure of sexual organs, possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of THC resin.
