SPOOKY footage of a “Gollum-like monster” creeping through woodlands in Canada has left the internet petrified.
Video of the mystery beast – which seems to be stalking a nearby moose – has emerged and it is the stuff of nightmares.
The shocking clip was captured by Audree Frechette in Quebec’s isolated Gaspé Valley.
The 6ft tall monstrosity was caught on film while the Canadian filmed a moose feeding by the side of the road.
It was only when Audree looked back at the footage she spotted the human-like creature lurking in the shadows.
The scary clip was uploaded to the photographer’s YouTube channel – where it has already become a huge talking point.

“Looks like Gollum,” one comment read with another simply writing: “My precious ” – a clear reference to the Lord of the Rings ghoul. Another added: “It really creeped me out.”
However one observer wrote: “That looks like the Rake type creature stalking that moose. It must be pretty tall too.”
The Rake – last “spotted in 2006” – is a mythical humanoid creature with pale grey skin and no visible nose. It is said to attack without provocation.
However, many other viewers reacted with scepticism and suggested the “monster” was actually just a speck on Audree’s car window.
One posted: “It’s obviously some crap on their windshield, that through the camera, looks superimposed on the trees, thus looking like something ‘stalking’ the moose.”
