A high school English teacher had sex with two schoolboys during Spring Break after she Googled to check whether it was legal to do so.
Brittney Whetzel, 28, allegedly told pals she was counting down to one of the boy’s graduations on June 3, so that she could have ‘beautiful babies’ with him.
But investigators say Whetzel, of Battery Creek, SC, did not wait that long, and that she slept with him and one of his friends on April 9, according to the Island Packet.
She is said to have done so after Googling variations on the question ‘Can teachers get in trouble for sleeping with former students?’
Whetzel, who also allegedly joked about ‘hooking up’ with one of the boys with her fellow teachers, allegedly slept with the two 18 year-olds during a boozy party at her home.
Her alleged abuse of the youngster emerged after a colleague who was part of a private chat group saw Whetzel bragging about her conquests.
She is said to have written ‘I can’t control myself,’ and that she ‘would do it (sleep with students) every day’.
She was reported to Battery Creek High School’s principal shortly after, and arrested on April 16.

Whetzel has been charged with two felony counts of sexual battery and three misdemeanor counts of transfer of beer or wine for an underage person’s consumption.

A Beaufort County sheriff’s report seen by the Island Packet claims Whetzel insitgated the relationship with the boy by asking him to look after her cats while she visited family in Maryland.
While away, she sent the boy texts which were ‘not student teacher type communication; rather, the text stream seems to indicate a growing flirtation,’ according to the report.
The alcohol fueled party took place two days later, and saw Whetzel take one of the boys into her room for sex, before abusing the other, it is claimed.
Andrews is said to have walked in on Whetzel, who has since been fired from her job, naked with the two boys.
She allegedly left the room without saying anything.
Sheriff’s deputies subsequently collected DNA evidence from her home.
Whetzel allegedly told interviewers she was too drunk to remember whether she’d had sex with her alleged victims.
She is reported to have added: ‘Ms. Andrews and I would tease that after they graduate, no one would get in trouble for doing anything.’
Whetzel, who has been bailed, is set to appear before a court on Wednesday.
