A schoolteacher texted a 17 year-old boy an eggplant and peach emoji with a message that said: ‘I’ll give you the B you give me the D.’
Science teacher Armando Alejo wrote to the boy to tell him he had scored 53.8% in a test – and when the boy replied to ask for extra credit, the teacher said: ‘Convince me (wink emoji)’.
According to the Miami New Times, the former South Miami Senior High School teacher added: ‘You want the B, What about me?’

After sending the eggplant and peach – which can be used to symbolize a penis and backside – Alejo told the boy: ‘I should fuck that booty.’
The student he was texting, who has not been named, tried to change the subject and wrote ‘ill stay with the 79’ – a reference to his overall science score.
He then ignored Alejo’s messages, prompting a slew of question marks and nervous face emojis.
The messages were sent in the 2016-17 school year, and saw Alejo banned from teaching for a decade.

It is unclear how they were uncovered, with Alejo resigning from his job in October 2016.
If the teacher, who received a series of rave reviews from students on site Rate My Teachers, does wish to return to the classroom after 2028, he will be put on three years employment-based probation.
He has also been ordered to attend the Recovery Network Program, which treats teachers with drug, alcohol or mental health issues.
