View Full Version : With Verizon or AT&T and have a high end smart phone? Get Sprint free for a year.
We are trying this out. Pay only the taxes and fees (we think about $20 a month) for a year. We paid off our Verizon phones to the tune of $600, but we'll save that much in less than 4 months.
Doesn't appear to be a catch except potential data speed throttling. We paid $12 for the sim cards; they waived a $20 "handling fee".

That and Sprints coverage is probably 4th in coverage. I think T-Mobile has better coverage now

Verizons numbers are phony. The "4g" coverage on the lake erie islands is a joke even though they have their map showing good coverage. I can barely send/receive text messages rarely make a phone call. Get on the internet? that's a joke.

I'm on T-Mobile, have been for a really long time actually. Their coverage has gotten a lot better than it used to be. There are still some 'dead spots' that I run into occasionally, but for the most part, I'm really happy. Plus their speeds are super fast.

Only AT&T work at my house. Thus, not much choice.

I'm on Verizon because everybody else sucks ass around my way. Including Sprint.
And if they're throttling bandwidth, it's not exactly unlimited.

They got us! From $187/mo to $20/mo for a year? Okay.
Hell, I'd like to throw the fucking thing in a lake and get a land line.
