Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez threatened to use the powers of her elected office to retaliate against Donald Trump Jr. on Friday after the president's son posted a meme trolling her on his personal Instagram account.

"I have noticed that Junior here has a habit of posting nonsense about me whenever the Mueller investigation heats up," Ocasio-Cortez tweeted. "Please, keep it coming Jr - it’s definitely a “very, very large brain” idea to troll a member of a body that will have subpoena power in a month."

"Have fun!" she concluded.

Almost immediately, numerous political analysts, commentators, and pundits noted that Ocasio-Cortez's comments likely constituted an ethics violation.

"It's worth noting that the official House Ethics Manual explicitly prohibits the kind of threat that @Ocasio2018 just issued against @DonaldJTrumpJr for his refusal to support her political agenda," The Federalist's Sean Davis wrote on Twitter.

A source close to Donald Trump Jr. told The Daily Wire that they expect an ethics complaint will be filed.

Oh please please please... get the ethics committee on her ass.

A whole lot of good that'll do.

Won't ever happen with the democrats taking control of the House next month.

I still think it's bizarre that there is no internet trail on this broad. They can dig up the "14-year-old self" tweets of a Heisman winner, but nothing exists on her? Like nothing. Good, bad, indifferent. Nothing. Does that make any sense in this day and age?

I'm not surprised. If I gave you all of my information, you'd find nothing on me either.

C'mon, man. Bubble head bartender? No attention whore Instagram? No twitter trail? She was completely off the grid then suddenly in congress and tweeting stupidity like crazy? You're buying that?

Some people are good at not being found online.

I have to agree with RBP on this one. It's like she just magically appeared recently. It's like when you watch those TV shows where they create a secret identity for an agent to go undercover and backstop all possible inquiries into it.

I'm not saying that she could have been intentionally going completely incognito like I or y'all have online, but it's not hard to keep things under lock and key. If she decided before that she didn't need twitter or instagram or facebook or any other of the pieces of crap invasive wastes of time that most people use daily without thinking about, then she'd be just fine. She could be the one woman that proves my assertion that you don't need to exist online to exist in the real world. Not because she's smart about it, but because she decided that she's seen enough of it and she didn't need it in her life up until now. There are a lot of people that just don't use this junk... still, today.

You don't need twitter. You don't need instagram. You don't need facebook. You don't need any of it. Yes, she's dumber than a bag of rocks, but even a bag of rocks can decide that they have better things to do with their time rather than dick about online.

But that's what doesn't make sense because she's the prototypical social media user. She's dumb, narcissistic, and she posts on Twitter (now) anything and everything that pops into her head. I find it very hard to believe that she only started doing this when she started her run for congress.

There were these dudes on Dragons Den I saw that help you clean up your online presence, not erase it entirely because companies these days don't want a total ghost, but they also don't want someone with dirt on them easily dug up on facebook. Smart idea actually IMO. Anyways, I'd bet she had hers professional polished, I couldn't find shit on her either. .

So we are too believe that she organically made this grass roots run and was smarter than the rock star agents of a slew of professional athletes who have had their teenage feeds exposed as homophobic or racist?

And that her $4000 on loan wardrobe and rock star photo shoots were just natural outcomes versus highly organized and orchestrated image management?

And that seems more plausible than that she's a Manchurian candidate? I'm not so sure.
