CASTLE? Theorist spots a strange shadow on the Arctic crust
AN ANCIENT castle has been found in a blurred Google Earth image from Antarctica, according to an online theorist.
The satellite image from Google Earth shows a serious of shadows resembling old buildings on the face of the Arctic crust.
Looking closer at the mountains, it is unclear exactly what is casting the mysterious shadows.
The shocking find was shared by YouTube conspiracy theorist UFOmania while on an online expedition of the ice continent.
Speaking of his discovery, he said: “By the shape of the shadow everything indicates that they are towers of a very ancient castle.”
“The area from which these shadows originate is very blurred.”
That makes it difficult to find what causes the mysterious shapes, but hundreds of viewers have since offered their thoughts.
Some argued the shadows may be the result of a cover-up on the continent’s snowy surface.
One person wrote: “Real knowledge is hidden from us.”
Similarly, another commented: “That looks exactly like when NASA covers things caught on film on the moon.”
A third added: “There is definitely weird stuff in Antarctica.”
But others are less convinced by the existence of an ancient castle on in such an icy climate.
One viewer commented: “Looks like a weathered old rock mountain to me. What a joke.”
