A “TIME traveller form 2030” claims humans will be able to take trips to visit the Moon as early as 2025.
Speaking to YouTube conspiracy channel Apex TV, self-proclaimed time traveller Darryl Dean revealed how we can expect the world to change in the next decade.
The time traveller – who claims he is visiting our time on a brief Back to the Future style holiday – revealed to the channel: “In the year 2025, a base is opened on the moon, and people can actually visit it for a fee.”
But according to Darryl, people quickly start to lose interest in exploring space thanks to advancements in artificial intelligence.
He explains: “Most people think that people are going to go out and explore the whole universe, but actually, as humans advance everything is going to get smaller, not bigger.
“Eventually, we all start uploading our brains to computers and start simulating realities – but that’s later in the 2060s.”
Darryl also revealed our brains will be fitted with wifi-connected chips by 2021.
The bizarre video has already gained more than 87,000 views since its upload on Tuesday (January 1).
And viewers aren’t optimistic people will be able to visit the moon in the not-too-distant future.
One person wrote: “A base opened to the public on the moon in 2025? Six years from now? Ok.”
Another replied: “You have a lot of work to do to get there in six years.”
On the other hand, last year entrepreneur Jeff Bezos released plans to create the first moon base by 2023.
The European Space Agency also announced plans to build a “moon village” on the lunar surface, which could be used as a “backup” for the human race if anything disastrous were to happen on Earth.
Unsurprisingly, other viewers reckon Darryl was lying about being a time traveller, sparking a fully-fledged comment war online.
