An Ohio woman who showed up in the village mayor’s court to answer to drug charges carried a backpack containing meth, Ecstasy, marijuana, pills and other drugs — and pipes used to smoke them.
Stark County Jail records show Elizabeth D. Wilson, 31, of the 9100 block of Arrow Road NW in the Minerva area, was arrested at 4:44 p.m. Wednesday at the Minerva Mayor’s Court, 209 N. Market St., where she had gone to appear on unrelated drug charges.
Police seized the multi-colored backpack and the items inside it. Those items included 0.53 grams of a methamphetamine/MDMA (Ecstasy) mixture, 11 blue pills stamped R3060, 11 white oval-shaped pills called Gabapentin, a small bag containing 2.32 grams of marijuana buds, a blue glass pipe and two pipes, each containing the residue of illegal drugs that had been smoked.
Wilson was jailed on charges of possession of dangerous drugs with the intent to sell, distribute or deliver, possession of drug abuse instruments, marijuana drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and two counts of aggravated drug possession.
Information about the drug charges for which she originally appeared in the mayor’s court was not listed in the jail records.
She remained in jail Thursday, held in lieu of $26,000 bond pending an Alliance Municipal Court hearing.
