Pop singer Bebe Rexha sounded off on the crowd at Thursday night's pre-Grammy Spotify event when they didn't sing along to her monster hit song.

Rexha was joined by fellow acts H.E.R. and Chloe x Halle, all nominated for best new artist at the Grammys, performed at the event honoring rising newcomers.

Rexha was fiery during her performance of "Meant to Be," her record-breaking hit song featuring country duo Florida Georgia Line. But when the crowd of music industry players didn't sing it back to her at Hammer Museum in Los Angeles, she went ballistic, f-bombs included.

"This song was No. 1 for 50 f---ing weeks," she said after telling her band to stop the performance. "I work too f---ing hard for this s--t, OK?"

Rexha then looked over to her mom and said, "My mom is like 'please calm down.' I love you mom. I'm calming down."

"Meant to Be" set a record last year when it spent a historic 50 consecutive weeks at the top of Billboard's Hot country songs chart. It peaked at No. 2 on the all-genre Hot 100 chart and is nominated for best country duo/group performance at Sunday's Grammys, giving Florida Georgia Line their first-ever Grammy nomination.

"I worked too hard for this moment. I'm from Staten Island, New York, and I'm standing on this stage right here," yelled 29-year-old Rexha, who co-wrote Eminem and Rihanna's Grammy-winning 2013 hit, "The Monster."

"You're going to sing the f---ing words if you know the f---ing song."

Rexha's second try at the song included more crowd participation. Other singers had an easier time Thursday night.

British singer Dua Lipa kicked off the multi-hour event with upbeat hits such as "New Rules" and "IDGAF," getting some of the audience members to dance; Margo Price, who is six months pregnant, strummed her guitar and sang passionately; and fans rushed to the stage for English singer Jorja Smith, who had a lounge-y feel.

Chloe x Halle, who sang "America the Beautiful" at Super Bowl 53, was top-notch alongside a 10-piece band as they ran through songs from their major-label debut album, "The Kids Are Alright." It's nominated for best urban contemporary album, for which they will compete with their mentor Beyonce.

H.E.R. closed the night with a rousing set that confirmed why she's nominated for five Grammys, including album of the year.

"I am so excited to be here. This is a major week for me," she said.

She sang in place when she performed the fan favorite "Focus," nominated for best R&B song, and strummed her acoustic guitar as she sang "Best Part," competing for best R&B performance. When she sang "Make It Rain," she played the electric guitar and sang like a seasoned pro, earning a standing ovation from the audience.

Spotify's event mainly highlighted the six female acts nominated for best new artist. Country singer Luke Combs and rock band Greta Van Fleet are also nominated for the award.

The Grammys will air live on CBS from the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

You are singing for a living, something you enjoy doing, and making thousands of dollars and getting God knows what other perks that come with the job.

You could be making 9/hr, 18 hours per week offering food samples to people in supermarkets.

Rather than fear and stress where your next meal is coming from, I bet you ate 1000 dollars worth of expensive food in the last couple of days as you were rehearsing...

Totally classless move...things can be worse bitch.

I saw Guns n Roses before they became famous. They were a warm-up band for The Cult (talk about dating myself).

Before each song Axl preceded it by saying - You ever have a girlfriend who did too much fuckin coke? You ever have a friend who fuckin liked coke too much ? Have you ever done too much fuckin coke and had a rough night?

Then he goes into a touching story about one of their roadies who recently passed away.

Guy in the front row with a super loud voice screams - Don't tell us...it's because he did too much fuckin coke, right???!!!

 Axl lost his mind, spit on the front row and during his tantrum threatened to quit the show and walk off the stage.

Crowd starts to chant -Leave. The. Stage. Leave. The. Stage!

Yeah, he's a complete ass hat...

Yep, did you ever hear about the St Louis incident in '91?

He jumped into the crowd and attacked a fan, said later the guy had a camera and cameras weren't allowed.

That little bit of grandstanding started a riot where 50 people were injured and 15 fans arrested.

People with the world by the balls and they gotta pull that sort of shit...

I saw Eric Clapton live. Dude was wearing a white three piece suit and without making dramatic guitar poses or faces, he played the hell out of that guitar.

At one point he walks around to the back of the stage where we couldn't see him and he plays three songs for the people who bought the cheapest, shittiest seats in the house.

No round stage, it was a huge classic backdrop with the drum kit and speakers in front.

Total class act

I've read that Billy Joel and Coldplay don't sell the front rows of their concerts because they got sick of them being filled with wealthy/entitled folks who weren't fans, so instead they have their roadies go and grab people from nosebleeds who look like fans and upgrade them before the show starts. Pretty neat.

I read recently where some other act does the same thing.
