Two spaceships are seen on asteroid Vesta
ALIEN spaceships have been spotted on one of the largest asteroids in the solar system, conspiracy theorists have claimed, leading some to believe extraterrestrials used to reside on the massive space rock.
Asteroid Vesta has a mean diameter of 525 kilometres and is the second largest object in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter, second only to the dwarf planet Ceres. Vesta, also known as Vesta 4, is so large some are considering changing its status to a dwarf planet, and conspiracy theorists believe it is sufficiently big that it could have once hosted life. This out-there theory was given a boost when eagle-eyed alien hunters spotted what they believe is two spaceships on Vesta.
One of the UFOs looks as if it is covered in a layer of dust, which would suggest that it has been there for a considerable amount of time.
Both of the mysterious objects are diamond-like and similar in length and width, with conspiracy theorists quick to claim they both probably come from the same alien civilisation.
Prominent alien hunter Scott C Waring wrote on his blog UFO Sightings Daily: “This is asteroid Vesta and on it I found two diamond shaped ships resting on its surface.
“NASA also happens to think that this might not be an asteroid, but a small planet the size of the state of Arizona.

“The two ships I found are both similar in length and width, but slightly different in design.
“One is more shiny and metallic than the other, which makes me believe there is a thick layer of dust on one of the craft make for a dull appearance.”
Asteroid Vesta is estimated to hold about nine percent of all the mass contained in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter.
The asteroid was discovered by German astronomer Heinrich Wilhelm Olbers in 1908 and has since become a subject of intense study by NASA’s Dawn space probe.
