Did they actually connect this story to Superman? If so, bravo.

I can see the director doesn't mind giving us some cringe-worthy scenes (in a good sense) :lol:

That's the premise of the movie: alien kid that has super powers crashes on Earth, normal Midwestern family finds him and takes him in and raises him on their own, but.... take Superman's origin story and turn it into a horror film.

James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy 1 + 2, Slither) produced it, and his brother and cousin wrote the screenplay.
