NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Jose Luis Gonzalez, 41, was arrested today at his South Nashville residence on outstanding warrants charging him with burglary and public indecency for two separate incidents at the Biltmore Place Apartments, 830 Glastonbury Road.
On December 23 and March 11, Gonzalez is seen on surveillance footage entering the laundry room, which is posted for residents only, and taking several pair of women’s underwear from the dryers. In December’s incident, he put several pairs down his pants while masturbating. During the second incident this month, Gonzalez put the underwear in a bag and left the laundry room for approximately 15 minutes. In both cases, Gonzalez returned the underwear to the dryers.
Gonzalez, of S. Lyle Lane, is charged with burglary and public indecency. Gonzalez, who has prior arrests for driving without a license and shoplifting, is being held in lieu of $5,000 bond.
This investigation was led by the MNPD’s Sex Crimes Unit.
