Speaking of hot, last night...
An old coworker has a daughter that lives near Brisbane. He's an older guy, not much of an athlete, and said he liked to hike around a little. Go to the shore line and wade up to his knees sort of thing.
He tells us : They found a poisonous spider in the house, a venomous snake in the back yard, and then he goes down to this place on a secluded cove to walk around in the water. I guess when he's in the water a beach patrol vehicle pulls up, screams at him to get out of the water because there are signs warning about jellyfish in the area
He says all of this happened during one day and he doesn't get scared of wildlife. He picked up the spider on a piece of wood to show to his granddaughter, she starts yelling and freaking out because apparently grandpa has one of the most poisonous spiders in the country on a stick  The kind where you have about an hour to get help after getting bitten? Later in the day the snake was behind their home...another variety that can paralyze you with its venom, and then the jellyfish incident happened as the sun was going down.
He told us - It's all true, you can die with every step in that ___-ing country
