Oh and in case it hasn't been mentioned yet, there's a huge Reddit thread where a guy took screens of the final scenes and determined from camera positioning and what was said, that ____is the person getting killed.
I thought Abraham myself. The Reddit theory above postulates a more mainstream character.

That episode was INTENSE. After seeing that it was Abraham that Negan killed, never expected that Glenn was going to get it too.
-
I'm wondering why they did that. In the comics, Abraham dies before they meet Negan, and Negan kills Glenn, so I'm wondering if the producers are just trying to keep in line with the comics in the post-Negan event.
-
Who knows, they haven't followed the comics completely from what you have said. When Daryl got up and punched Negan I thought 'oh shit' and expected something to happen to him, still wasn't expecting Glen to get it.
-
They've kept the overall story arc intact, but they've changed minor details here and there. Some people that have died are alive and some people that are alive are dead. Carol comes to mind. She's dead in the comics and Sophia's still around. Some people that don't even exist in the comics are around in the TV show. Daryl, Enid, the Wolves. Actually, now that I'm thinking about it, I think maybe Enid's taken Sophia's place in the show. Sophia and Carl had a thing in the comics like Enid and Carl does, although Sophia and Enid are nothing alike. Sophia was adopted by Glenn and Maggie after Carol's death, and Enid was kind of looked after by Glenn and Maggie.
Daryl's a complete wildcard. They can do just about anything they want to the character, but I really hope they don't kill him off. I think the entire fanbase will revolt if they do.

Just been reading some recaps...I didn't realize (or completely forgot) that the title of the episode last night was the same thing the CDC guy told Rick at the end of season 1.
-
And I bet Rick now remembers that the CDC guy said it.

I hope when the baby comes that it doesn't have Glenn's eye.
