It doesn't and that's the problem. What Amaro thinks and what is isn't exactly the same thing. The Phillies need a couple of XBH's. We've survived winning tons of games without mound royalty/douchbaggery in the 9th. Amaro got set on "a veteran reliever" and that was that.

So, in order to set things right, they had to move the Milwaukee Brewers to the National league in 1998. Now to set things right, They have to move Houston to the American league.
