You know how you can tell when a show is really great? When nothing major really happens over the entire hour long episode and before you realize it, the end credits are rolling and it felt like the episode flew by and couldn't possibly have been a whole hour.
That's what last night's premiere was like, just setting the stage for everything. It's going to be glorious.
The look on Arya's face when she saw the dragons! You know she was thinking "I'm gonna ride it!"
What do dragons eat anyway?
Whatever they want.
Cersei: I really wanted those elephants.
And what was that sketch that Arya gave Gendry that she wants him to make? A weapon of some kind? :-k
:-k
Will Sam kill Daenerys?
I agree with Lance and Pony. It was a table setting episode and a damn good one at that. We saw people meet that either haven't shared a scene ever or their last meetings go back to seasons one and two. For me it was nice to get a sense of place for everyone. Jorah, the Hound, Sam...everyone is hanging at Winterfell!
I think we saw every main character with the exception of the Night King, Melisandre (and Gilly). How often do we get treated to that in one episode?
And Jaime looking at Bran in the final scene was masterful and chilling.
Bronn with Chekhov's crossbow was impressive as well. I predict the crossbow will be used, but not on Jaime or Tyrion.
It says dragonglass on the drawing and the net says it will have an interchangeable tip.
