‘Love it or hate it’: Restaurant’s crazy new pizza divides opinion

A pizza joint has debuted a rather interesting pizza, which has divided opinion — with some people saying they're willing to try it, while others are horrified.
Fong’s Pizza in Iowa in the US has unveiled a brand new pizza with Froot Loops, the iconic breakfast cereal featuring as the topping.
"You either love it, or love to hate it," the restaurant quipped on Facebook.
The new addition to the menu is called Loopy Fruits and in addition to the cereal, it initially came with cream cheese sauce, mozzarella, a drizzle of Greek yogurt and condensed milk, KCCI reported.
The Loopy Froots pizza debuted in late February, branded as a "breakfast addition" at the Forest Avenue store, in Des Moines.

Comical reactions to Loopy Froots pizza
"@FBI, I’d like to report a cereal killer," one person tweeted about the pizza.
"Pineapple: some people say I don’t belong on pizza. Cereal: hold my beer," another person tweeted.
One person who said they were Italian said they would be declaring war on Iowa.
"I'm just worried this will ruin the great reputation of Iowa pizza," Jimmy Fallon said on The Tonight Show, when he showed a clip of a news broadcast about the pizza.
Fong's on Forest is actually okay with the "national outrage" the breakfast pizza was causing.
"Hater's gonna hate, and Fong's is going to keep making uniquely delicious pizza," Fong's on Forest said on Facebook, asking what breakfast cereal people would like to see on a pizza next.
Despite the "haters" some people on social media said they were keen to try it and some people were really enjoying it.
"Thank you so much for the froot loop pizza today! It was delicious and even better after it was refrigerated for a while," one person said on Facebook.
Another person tried the pizza and suggested they use icing on the pizza.
"We have added a cereal milk icing, did you get that version?" Fong's on Forest said in response to the customer.
"We are also looking at making a sweeter cream base. We appreciate the feedback! Keep it coming!"
