No, they're far worse. The R's want to ban all of the social issue crap, but the D's want to give them all of our money.

I hate that grocery store.
Rave reviews! It's the best!

Other than produce, the store is overpriced. Every time I have shopped there they didn't sell something I wanted. Most annoyingly, the clerks they hire at checkout of pretentious asswipes in annoying bowties.
Cashier: "Did you find everything okay?"
I ignore him be cause a) I am going through my wallet, b) you have no purpose in asking, c) you would do nothing with the information if I provided it, and d) I have no obligation to say a fucking word to you.
Cashier (now insistent and starring): "SIR?"
Me: *glare* "I found everything fine."
Cashier: *calls for an adult to ring my liquor* "May I see an ID for the liquor?"
I handed him my ID, but actually, no you may not, and you shouldn't ask. You aren't over 21 and you are not legally able to ask for ID nor evaluate it.
Cashier: *looks at ID, looks at me, looks at ID, looks at me* "The picture looks like him only the hair is more brown."

Did you just serious comment that my hair has greyed since my license picture, you insidious little fuckwit?
Little bagger girl: *holds up vodka* "is this yours too."
Me: "yes"
Cashier: "he bought that for me"
Me: "you couldn't even ring it, so not likely"
Bagger girl: *giggle*
Fuck I fucking hate that fucking store.
I have had the most worst fucking day imaginable in a long fucking time..
And the last three posts of the "thread of cute" has made it all better.
Seriously love this place.
i thought amish didn't have bad days
The dentist whose office is next to my building put Illinois Police Association vanity plates on his Porsche. :-k
If it gets him out of one ticket, it pays for itself. :+1:
Well played, Doctor.
I usually just flash the Police Association card my uncle gave me. He was a lieutenant up in Philly.
Huge ass storm yesterday. Knocked the power out from 5 pm to 8:30. I figured all of the plants would be watered from all of the rain so I wouldn't have to worry about it for at least a day. Sure enough, I'm right but there was another consequence to all of this rain... it ended up in my mailbox, and I just pulled in three pieces of soggy mail. And mail is nasty when it's soggy.
Happy Father's Day, Pop. I miss you.
So tired:yawn:
I can relate. The Phillies won the World Series the same year that my father passed away (2008). I was elated and sad all at the same time. He should have been there to see it. I'm a baseball fan because of my father. That's the most loved sport on his side of the family and I remember him taking me to games back in the late 70s and early 80s back when I was a little kid in Philly and NJ. My father absolutely loved baseball and he loved our Phillies. Granted, we're a big football family because my brother and I both played in youth leagues and high school, and my father loved the Eagles too, but baseball was, is, and always will be the number one family sport because of my father.
Man, Git and Github sucks ass.
Look inside and you will see,
The words are cutting deep inside my brain.
Thunder burning, quickly burning,
Knife of words is driving me insane.
Insane! Yeah!
good local story...
