I really felt good today. it's been a hard year, but despite that I think we are a bit more unified than we were a year ago :)

There's been confrontation here between our Federal Government and Google on Google having to pay providers for news it uses on its platform. Google has threatened to shut down its Search Engine in Australia (despite the fact that in France they have agreed to a similar proposal).
On our national day = "Australia Day" yesterday, Google ignored us by not displaying a Google Doodle to commemorate the day - first time ever.
