The unassisted triple play is more rare than the perfect game.
Yeah, but an unassisted triple play is just one instance...and it means completely being lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time
A perfect game is a masterpiece that takes the entire game.
That makes it far more difficult to achieve than a perfect game, and therefore, more rare. A perfect game isn't pure achievement alone. I bet every pitcher that ever had one would tell you that it's a total team effort with a huge dose of luck involved.
We could say that both feats are equal in terms of luck required.
Javier Baez jacks a walk-off home run in the bottom of the 13th to complete a 4-game sweep of the Nats. Cubs go to 24-6!

That was a mess. Odor should be suspended for that.
Bautista didn't even fall. He stayed on his feet.

Too short or too long?
Seems long... still thinking about it.
He's got a history. He was throwing punches in the minors.
40-16. :faint:
I was listening to the Philly's radio broadcast. What a hoot, those guys are some hilariously negative curmudgeons.
Philly people are arguably the best at talking shit.
