Per Wikipedia: Due to the Russian doping controversy, the International Olympic Committee will only permit certain Russian athletes to compete at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea, from 9 to 25 February 2018, under the designation Olympic Athlete from Russia (OAR).
I'm unsure of what the Oar (Russia) designation is for.
Another way for the Russians to cheat, apparently.
Interesting to note that a whole mess of people in the know were against lifting the ban on the Russian athletes being allowed to compete. They're saying there's no evidence that the doping has stopped.
Did we win yet?
It starts Friday.
Final week of the Olympics and Norway has 11 gold medals with Germany close behind with 10. Next closest is Canada and the Netherlands, both with 6.
There go's my money.. Thanks Trump.
Did anyone see what happened to the Brit curler? They have automated rocks with lights that indicate if a curler goes over the hog line as they release the rock.
Her little light turned red, and instant replay showed she wasn't touching the rock when it passed over the line. They still tagged her for it and discounted the shot.
Half price?
Huh? oh...discounted. Yes they lost the match and the medal because it I believe...
And a tie for 1st place, Norway and Germany both won 14 golds.
