"starting at" $599 CAD per night. I better get to see Ellen Page and Justin Bieber doing some girl on girl action for that price.

I worked in Banff for a year and we went up there often. Since most of us worked in the service industry it was common to party with the Banff Springs people etc. We all hated the tourists and the places we worked for, so anytime someone could get keys to a room or an area inside a hotel we took advantage
The resort I worked at had expensive split level loft rooms with two bathrooms, microwave ovens, dishwashers and satellite TV. (this was progressive for '85) One night we went to the wing of our hotel without guests, went into a vacant room and brought a bunch of booze and dope and watched Apocalypse Now on Satellite TV
I've done the same at Banff Springs. I've got some pics of one of the rooms, brb.
We got my Mom and Dad a room at the Banff Springs for their 50th Wedding Anniversary. This was around 15 years ago.
Mom at the entrance. It really does resemble a castle.

Rooms look homey but are full of nice wooden fixtures and furniture. More like an old mansion rather than a normal hotel room.

Mom showing us what's important  (they both didn't drink much, wine or champagne at most)
