 with 4 HR and 3 were back to back to back bombs!
CBS Sports listed him as being good for -19.1 fantasy points last night
On the Seattle kid, his last outing was 16 strike outs. The article said the only other pitcher to have a 16-K game and a no-hitter in the same season was Nolan Ryan.
Didn't realize he was that good, never really heard of him before :-k
I hadn't either. I watched the 9th, that kid was calm, cool, and laser focused. Threw 100 MPH fastball in the bottom of the 9th. Plenty of gas left in the tank.
Well, at least the Sox salvaged the last game of the series. I guess that's something.
And thanks, the Rox lost the opener to the Brewers last night. We really could have used that Darvish rental I requested. :meh:
Did you hear? He's on the 10-day DL with "flu".

Well that's one way to eliminate Darvish's 5th inning problem.
Yu Darvish lifted after 4 innings in Cubs 3-2 comeback win over Braves
There couldn't have been a comeback without Darvish, so he deserves the credit :nono:
Red Sox pitcher dislocates shoulder during dugout tantrum
BOSTON — Red Sox pitcher Carson Smith dislocated his pitching shoulder during a tantrum and went on the 10-day disabled list Tuesday, an injury Boston said could be major.
The 28-year-old right-hander was hurt when he threw his glove in the dugout after leaving Monday night’s 6-5 loss to Oakland. He entered with the Red Sox trailing 5-4 in the eighth, allowed Khris Davis’ leadoff home run, then retired three straight batters. Brian Johnson relieved to start the ninth.
:dunce:
Chicago White Sox catcher Welington Castillo suspended 80 games, effective immediately, for PED violation.
