But it's better to eat animal protein, particularly right after a muscle building routine. The human body absorbs animal protein better than plant-based protein.

Whey is a milk protein.

BTW, nothing wrong with plant proteins. You just need to make sure to combine them properly to cover all the amino acid groups.

I don't disagree at all, but downing 20g of protein in a shake right after a workout has some good proven benefits and it's easier than eating a cold chicken breast for breakfast if you work out in the morning :lol:
