It's official. Bezos is insane. The Wheel of Time is a book series that comprises 14 novels and one prequel novel.

I guess he's gotta get into the long ass series game because HBO's got A Song of Ice and Fire already finished (and now a prequel series coming), Apple TV's adapting Asimov's Foundation series, and Netflix's adapting The Witcher (one season in already and an animated prequel film just released). But holy shit Jeff! 14 freakin' novels, man! All your primary actors are gonna be like 80 years old before this junk is done.

I don't have the mental space to cope with another mega-series, lol.

Still waiting for someone to do Niven's Ringworld

Watched previews. Looks like they are butchering the plot. Ill watch a couple episodes just to see. Overall, I loved the books, though they definitely long winded.
