I'm no hero but a few years back I helped an older gentleman out of his car into his wheelchair. He had an older Caddy and kept his chair in the backseat.
Snow on the ground, cold, and guy gives me his keys and asks if I wouldn't mind getting the chair out and setting it up for him. Totally trusted me as a stranger.
He was a lot more able than expected and was very kind with his thanks.
Didn't dawn on me until after that we were parked about 75 yards from the mall and why the hell wasn't he parked in a handicapped spot? Drove by the spots, all were taken and sure enough some chick comes running out to her car and didn't look disabled in any way...other than she was probably cold and dressed improperly.
