Lol we traded our captain away. Thanks to Bo Horvat for 9 great years, he did all he could I think. Seems we got OK return, biggest thing was we weren't going to be able to afford him after this season as a UFA because of horrid cap management. Just a shame. I'm fully on team tank.
Elias Petterson won hardest shot at the all star comp... his listed weight is 175, only the second forward to win hardest shot beside Ovie. I have no idea how that's possible :lol:

Aaaand the Islanders signed Bo for $8.5x8 years, that's totally reasonable to me. We signed JT Miller (who's older and not as good) for $7x8 so this is such a slap in the dick to Nucks fans. Fuck this team man :(

Wow, Bruins pulled off a rade to get Orlov and Hathaway... they kinda robbed the Caps for a very late 1st rounder and 2025 2nd and 2024 3rd rounder. Hilarious. They are utterly stacked.
Plus we actually shed some salary in the deal and gained more cap space. :lol: It was an awesome trade and really filled in a piece that we needed for the Cup run.Quote:

That was a wild trade deadline, maybe one of the best in years. The Flames and Yotes swapped the Ritchie brothers in a 4 player trade, first time that's ever happened - weird one.
Nucks management proved again they have no plan. We go and get a 1st rounder for Horvat to load up in the future... then trade it away for a player on an expiring contract who's going to want to get paid like Horvat? The fuck are we even doing. I wish I knew how to force my brain to love another team, this is a lifetime of torture.
