Wonder how hard it is to control. Anyone who has ever played with remote control helicopters knows it doesn't take much to totally ruin their flight

I suspect you are right. These types of mobile systems are usually made for ease of use, and control. The range is probably limited, but I bet a good controller could really maneuver this baby through some tight places.
