The thing which amazed me is the 3D printer and wanted to buy it for so long time. But couldn't be bought due to financial issue as it is expensive according to my pocket. However, I recently fulfilled this wish of mine and I really happy as through this I can really make the miniatures of many things. how long's it take to go from oh shit I broke that to I'm glad I was able to fashion a new piece for my broken [stuff]?
Disappointed in the musiclily bridge. It fits fine, and guess I cant really complain, but the posts have just a hair too much gap where the bridge slises on, allowing the bridge to tilt forward. The makes the g,b and e strings not have good contact with the saddles, deadening them. The old posts are much tighter, so much so i actually need to sand the. A tad. Too bad old posts are chrome and new bridge is nickle. Ill modify it later today and see then. Might be buying a Wilkinson bridge.
Which guitar did you install this on? Honestly, if you've got that much give in the posts and the bridge, that's a flaw and you should take it up with the manufacturer. I've noticed that the hardware isn't that costly, and I'd hate to say it, but this may be a case of "you pay for what you get".
Its a cheap aftermarket $12 bridge on the harley benton. Had a look at mounting it on the old posts last night. I'll have to shave a mm or so from the bottom of the bridge for it to fit properly. Just bugs me that the od posts are chrome, and the bridge is nickle.
To be fair, it doesn't lean forward any more that my gibson stop bar top wrapped.
