ANCIENT MARS CIVILISATION? NASA photos show ’antique bottle’ buried among rocks

NASA photo taken by a space probe on Mars have astonishingly shown up what is claimed to be an antique bottle, sparking claims it could be a remnant of an ancient civilisation.
Prolific UFO hunter Scott C.Waring posted the images, said to have been taken by a NASA robot on the surface of the red plant, on his controversial website.
They show what he claims to be a polished antique bottle buried among the rocks, which could have been left behind by an “ancient culture”.
He said: “I found this when I was checking over downloaded Mars Curiosity rover photos on the official NASA blog.
“There appears to be an antique bottle laying on its side in the dirt under the rover. The bottle is small...about three inches across, but we have all seen an old bottle in the dirt before, and clearly here is another one on Mars. The object is very reflective, rounded and has a long neck just like a bottle here on earth may have. Remnants of an ancient culture.”

NASA’s Mars Curiosity Rover launched from earth in November 2011 and landed on the distant planet nine months later.
It has been sending back images ever since, with the latest ones in question said to have been taken on September 14.
Mr Waring has spent years reporting alleged UFO sightings on his website ufosightingsdaily.com.
It has become one of the most well-known UFO websites in the world, although his findings are often hotly disputed.
Mr Waring has obsessively posted photos claiming to show signs of life on Mars. To date, no conclusive proof has been found of this.
But cumulative evidence reportedly indicates that during the ancient Noachian time period, the surface environment of Mars had liquid water and may have been capable of providing habitable conditions for ancient life-forms.
Mr Waring publishes the results of his own "research", which often involves painstaking searches through images placed online by NASA of the Martian surface for signs of alien life.
The conspiracist previously produced reports claiming to have found creatures which resembled animal species on Earth, including a giant mouse, baboons, a bear, and crabs. The latest images of the so-called antique bottle are among his more recent findings.
Scott Brando, who runs the hoax-busting website ufoofinterest.org, was not convinced by the photos.
He said: “That image shows us just a rock which becomes an 'antique bottle' due to pareidolia effects.”
Pareidolia is a psychological phenomenon in which the mind effectively tricks itself into perceiving a familiar shape or object where it does not exist - typically in rock or cloud formations.
