It's already finished. He advised his publisher not to release it until he dies, so the day of his funeral everybody's gonna buy it and read it, and the whole world will groan and be pissed when the last few pages tell about the modern day little kid with the snowglobe and how it was all just his imagination.
Eww.
Or little Bran wakes up and he's laying in a pile of leaves at Winterfell and the Lannisters/Robert Baratheon are still there.
Ned walks over and says - Hey, did you fall while climbing young Bran?
When I think about it, every single Stark kid turned into a bad ass of some sort, most of them legendary. Even Robb was King of the North and kicked ass for a while.
Okay so Rickon became a moving archery target, can't win them all
Seriously they know the Night King is coming for Bran?
You line up The Hound, Tormund, and Brienne right in front.
How many of the wights attacking Winterfell are we gonna actually know as people that have died beyond the wall?
And is it bad that it got a little dusty in my house when Jamie knighted Brienne?
I made a post last night about this. Was talking about people who have died in general, not just beyond the wall. Someone called me demented (in a good way)..
"Demented? The Night King's whole front line should be Ned, Catelyn, Robb, Renly, Hodor, Jojen and assorted chickens and pigs from the Stark courtyard."
