actually went to avengers earlier tonight... i'm not sure how i feel about it yet to be honest
I liked it. Sure, there are issues with it, but it was a fun rollercoaster-ish flick.
Anon (Netflix).
Interesting premise. Shitty execution. The bad guy doesn't add up.
The Little Hours
Baywatch. Amazing
Goony Goo Goo..
deadpool 2
I'm gonna go sometime next week.
i knew i wasn't going to be going with my kids, so the opportunity was there tonight to go
I just want to avoid the rush. I don't mind waiting a few days.
it wasn't too bad in the theatre i typically go to tonight, but i am sure it is more than a typical thursday night movie in that place
one guy brought his son, who must have been maybe 12. the dad was out of the theatre more than half the time, i don't quite know how to interpret that :idk:
I live in a small town with not a whole helluva lot to do. New releases are always packed on the first weekend, especially for the geek fare... Star Wars, comic book flicks, action/sci fi/comedies... I just don't like to deal with the crowds.
I remember going to the Dark Knight Rises on release night and almost coming to blows with some asshole teenagers taking up all the handicapped spots in the theater, even when there was an entire row of empty seats 3-4 rows down.
i guess there are 4 movie theaters in our town with the one i typically go to the least likely for dates. the place is good and reasonable, but nothing fancy or lounger style or anything. i paid $5 to go on opening night at 7 pm with the discount they give me for being an employee of a particularly large employer in the city
