Watched the first 2 episodes last night, it definitely started off slowly but by the end of ep2 i was wanting more  Who else said "hey its Tuco!"?
And Mike the car park ticket man
Watched 1&2, I like it a lot. I like how they are weaving old characters in. It has a lot of potential
The punishment bartering with Tuco in the desert made me giggle
and to Mike - You're like the troll under the bridge! You must have a ticket to passss :x
As much as I liked the 2nd episode (especially compared to the first) it just still seems too much to have 2 MAJOR characters from BB already make their appearance in the series. I dunno.
I guess it's like life, shit happens and relationships are formed accidentally a lot of the time.
At first I thought the same. The creators are milking another series, immediately using beloved characters. We have to assume Saul has known Mike a long time and had some shadowy connection to Tuco
i guess i was hoping it would step away from BB for awhile before re-introducing the viewers to staple characters of BB
Episode 3 was better IMO, this is going to be a slow origins show...although hopefully not like Gotham (j/k).
I wish they would indicate the year. Chuck bails out Saul and obviously Saul hasn't taken the Bar exam yet in that flashback  And I understand it takes a few years to become a lawyer.
Memory question - *****SPOILER pertaining to Breaking Bad season 2***** Isn't Nacho the guy that Tuco beat to death in front of Walt and Jesse?
and Mike was great as always
No. That was No-Doze he beat to death. No-Doze was there with Tuco, Nacho, Gonzo, Saul, and the idiot twins in the desert. Nacho has never been seen in BB, although Saul/Jimmy may have referred to him in one of his meetings with Walt and Jesse in the second season.
ahhh, I remember now, thanks.
Nacho!
couple of complaints...nothing takes me out of a period piece more than when a character uses a phrase that hasn't been in use yet..
on this series so far - I'm down with that ....and hells yeah!....from when Saul was younger and not a lawyer yet :-k
