Interesting. At what point does a brutal fantasy become a crime? Could have been better as far as documentaries go, but the subject matter is fascinating.
Not sure what's next. I can't remember the last time I allowed myself a couch day. Merry Christmas to me. :)

Beautifully filmed and brutal. The director shot it using all natural light and employed long tracking shots, even during the action scenes.
The remote and cold aspects were portrayed so well, I was shivering at times.
* The real Hugh Glass crawled for over 200 miles, took him over six weeks, and he used maggots from a rotting tree stump to eat the necrotic flesh from his broken leg to prevent gangrene. Jeezus...

Not as good as i'd hoped :wha: Probably a bit long at nearly 3 hours and it took a good hour and a half to really get going........ the last half hour or so was cool but ultimately not Tarantino's best work (and i'm a big Tarantino fan). Would only give it 6/10 at most.
I had read that it was slow and most Tarantino fans didn't care for the dialogue.
