That was a really bad call. I don't agree with what the fans are doing, but I don't blame them for being upset.
Wow. You almost never see an official protest by a manager.
what are you blabbing about? :-k
The wild card game between the Braves and the Cardinals.
Oh well. Thanks for the memories, Chipper. You were a class act and you will be missed.

I won't live long enough to see them overcome last year's game six meltdown!
Detroit takes game 1 over the A's.
The Reds beat the Giants after losing ace pitcher Cueto in the 1st inning due to back spasms.
Also, the Cleveland Indians have hired Terry Francona.
I think he's worn out his welcome. He has an awful lot of baggage, and needs a full time babysitter (seriously, the team pays someone to be with him 24 hours a day when they're on the road). He has looked very disinterested several times during the season, and had a couple of questionable injuries. There was a report yesterday that a team official told one of the local sports writers (off the record) that they weren't interested in him next year even if he played for free. I think they will make a competitive, but low offer, so they can say that they tried. They definitely won't offer him the number of years he wants.
BTW he made 5 outs on 8 pitches the other night, including a 3 pitch strike out in his last at bat.
that's why i'm thinking he's done :idk:
The Cards pounce all over the Nats in game 2. 12 - 4. Series is tied at a game a piece.
The Yanks and Orioles' series is tied 1 all.
i watched a little of the yankees game (like less than an inning), and it felt like watching paint dry. i think that baseball has passed me by :(
