Jeeeeesus this is the same league I play in but in the div outside town. 22 year old kid died skating for a line change when he caught an edge and crashed into the boards. What a sad freak accident.

I'm going to do something I don't like doing: Defend Brad Marchand. The other night while down 7-zip, Lars Ellar skated past the Bruin's bench doing a cele on their 7th goal and even yapped back at their bench when the told him off..... so Brad showed him you don't do that kind of ship while you're up by 7 and hit him in the head.

Now all these cry babies are complaining to the league or player's safety or whatever that the league needs to do more to protect Ellar? Fuck no. This is how the game is policed, and always will be. Marchand got a penalty and that's fair... but that's where this should end.

This is an odd one... I read his wikipedia page and other than being the AHL affiliated coach I'm surprised they felt he had the resume for the job.

The nucks scored 8 goals tonight and 7 goals two games ago... I don't understand where this offense came from but damn is it ever a lot more fun to watch than the last 4-5 years.
