Bernie has officially dropped out of the race, Biden is the nominee.

President Trump is going to get another four years in the White House, isn't he?
The 2020 presidential election is starting to mirror the 2016 election in even the small details, including the parade of supposed experts in news media confidently predicting the Democratic establishment’s odds of electoral success in the fall.
On Wednesday, after Sen. Bernie Sanders dropped out of the 2020 Democratic primary, NBC News anchor Andrea Mitchell and her guests all agreed that the Vermont lawmaker’s decision represents the “worst-case” scenario for Trump. Why? Because it means the president now has to run against his “nightmare” opponent, former Vice President Joe Biden.
These people are out of their minds if they think this White House is more afraid of a candidate with a still-undefined campaign message than the left-wing populist with a fervently fanatic fan base.
Former Obama campaign manager Jim Messina went first, saying Wednesday on MSNBC that Biden all but formally winning the Democratic nomination is Trump’s “worst nightmare.”
“The Ukraine stuff,” Messina said, “everything else [Trump has] been doing for the past year and a half has been trying to make sure Joe Biden is not his opponent, and this morning it is clear Joe Biden will be his opponent, which is the best-case scenario for the Democrats.”
Surely Messina does not actually believe that Trump and his campaign’s laser-like focus on Biden’s questionable overseas dealings has been all about the 2020 Democratic primary. Surely Messina is not that short-sighted. You'd better believe that Ukraine stuff is going to feature prominently in the general election, this time with the general electorate more familiar than ever with the particulars.
The Obama campaign alumnus continued, arguing that Sanders dropping out of the primary, “allows the two big powers in the Democratic party, Barack, and in some ways, as importantly, Michelle Obama, to come off the sidelines and get involved.”
Wait – what? Surely Messina is aware that Barack and Michelle Obama campaigned for failed two-time presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in 2016. How did that work out?
Andrea Mitchell agreed with Messina, telling her guests, including New York Times reporter Peter Baker, that Sanders dropping out is “is the worst-case scenario for President Trump.”
However, Mitchell added, Trump “does have a megaphone and a platform here with these daily briefings, which no matter how badly the administration is being criticized … he still is gaining a lot of traction and shutting out, certainly shutting out Joe Biden and his campaign efforts since Super Tuesday.”
Well, yes. There is the fact that the president is, well, the president. There is also the fact that Biden has been confined to broadcasting his campaign from his home thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic. Speaking of which, 44% of voters believe Trump is better suited to lead the United States during the coronavirus crisis than Biden, who captured only 36% of support, according to a recent Politico/Morning Consult survey.
Look, what I am saying is that Biden has an enormous uphill battle ahead of him. He is trapped in his basement while trying to campaign during a pandemic against an incumbent populist president. Trump has a clearly defined doctrine, whereas Biden, like Clinton in 2016, struggles to explain his purpose for running. Sanders did not have that problem. Speaking of which, Biden will have to contend also with a somewhat fractured party. It is an open question whether Sanders’s supporters will stay home on Election Day.
Anyone who says Biden’s ascent to the nomination is a “nightmare” or a “worst-case” scenario for Trump, who has shown already he can defeat a candidate with no clearly defined campaign message, has no idea what he or she is saying.
We saw this sort of thing in 2016. Members of the news media got essentially everything about the election wrong. Based on the discussion Wednesday at MSNBC, 2020 could be more of the same.
i actually think joe biden is exactly the person trump wants

Which is why he will use corona virus as an excuse not to hold any

I've been flipping trough all the news channels on Pluto TV lately, Many are reporting on the virus, CNN is splitting time between the virus and little digs at Trump.
MSNBC is non stop anti Trump fake rhetoric. Every time I flip past it there's some different "expert" (usually someone from a 3rd rate newspaper) with some made up story about how bad our president is.
Everyone rips on CNN and I've seen my fair share of BS come from there but MSNBC is WAAAAY worse, I've seen more accurate reporting in the magazine racks at the grocery checkout. /rant

True.
Funny thing is all the liberals that say "Yea but Fox is worse" Sure Fox is right leaning but at least you can tell the difference between their opinion shows and news stories. For the most part the stories are fact based. Even the opinion shows have a pretty good historical track record when it comes to Trump. All the "scandals" the dems and LWM have started about him and which side ended up being right every time?

Pluralist
In the wake of Bernie Sanders’ announcement that he has suspended his 2020 presidential campaign, the Vermont senator’s most ardent supporters poured out their emotions on social media.
Sanders, the front-runner in February, acknowledged on Wednesday he no longer had a viable path to the Democratic nomination after a string of nominating contest losses to Joe Biden but promised to work with the former vice president to oust President Donald Trump.
“Then together, standing united, we will go forward to defeat Donald Trump, the most dangerous president in modern American history,” he said in a livestreamed speech to supporters from his hometown of Burlington, Vermont.
The 78-year-old senator, whose progressive agenda pulled the party sharply to the left, had early success in the Democratic race before losing in South Carolina in late February as moderate Democrats united behind Biden.
With their dreams of seeing Sanders in the White House shattered, some of the democratic socialist’s most passionate followers on Wednesday vowed not to rally behind the presumptive nominee.
And even more took to Twitter to vent their feelings of betrayal, anguish and confusion.
Pro-life advocate and artist Camellia Alexian even urged sympathy toward Sanders’ supporters “going through a difficult time.”
“Please check on them make sure they’re okay,” she tweeted.
Prominent Sanders supporters in the media, including radical leftist activist Linda Sarsour and controversial feminist journalist Talia Lavin, said they were “heartbroken” by the news.
Liberal actress Emily Ratajkowski said she felt “hopeless and devastated and powerless” by Sanders’ announcement.
Briahna Joy Gray, Sanders’ national press secretary, saw a silver lining in the whole affair:
Many Sanders supporters on Twitter turned to memes to express their agony:
Others advocated for outright anarchy:
bernie dropped out, time for anarchy, I’m over the system. pic.twitter.com/ta37zCSz3D

Some conservatives, meanwhile, celebrated the pain being felt by their ideological opponents.
The departure of Sanders, the last remaining rival to Biden, sets up a long battle for the White House between the 77-year-old former vice president and Trump, 73, who is seeking a second four-year term in office.
