About sums it up....The videos were designed to tap into viewers' visceral emotions: patriotism, fear and anger.
"Given the themes these guys are hammering tonight, I am here to tell you that I think this unstable sociopath and his mafia has a really decent shot at being re-elected," said Tom Nichols, a lifelong Republican who now serves as an adviser at the anti-Trump Lincoln Project.
Timing matters in politics and Republicans got lucky with the scenes of violence unfolding in Kenosha, Wisconsin. This allowed them to rail against anarchy in "Democrat-run cities" — a topic they'd much rather discuss than COVID-19. As Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway said: "The more chaos and anarchy and vandalism and violence reigns, the better it is for the very clear choice on who’s best on public safety and law and order."
Trump didn't shy away from Covid-19 during his speech last night.

Haven't watched him yet...
The Lincoln Project is precisely the sort of private groups that are highlighted by the Shadowgate documentary, where we have crony generals having made their own private intel firms - and now that computing power has greatly increased and cloud computing & AI has come a good way along with it, psyops have become a new thing in the internet age. Some of the more scary parts are when they're talking about using the AI to pre-profile prospective jurors, so that by the time voir dire comes along, its just like elections before Trump - you already have preselected candidates that will tend towards a desired result based on AI assessment of their internet posting, all but guaranteeing the preferred result.
Shit like that is why I boycotted facefuck, because I KNEW this was what it was going to be used for.
I thought about running.
I'm still working on my "Hold my beer and watch this shit" campaign slogan though.

There are plenty of people that would make good, even great candidates. But if you were someone that wanted to run for POTUS, would you want to subject yourself and your family and friends to being run through the political wringer? The opposition will dig up anything, and I mean anything, they can use against you in the election. First it would be the party you wish to represent, your opponents in the primaries will try and tear you down. And then, if you do manage to secure the nomination, the opposing party will go even deeper, even if it's unethical. They will try and twist and manipulate everything they find on you and make it sound like you are the Anti-Christ, Hitler, Stalin, and Chairman Mao all rolled into one.
Would you want to do that to your life?

My bedtime read. Sorry had to share the laugh"We will hire more police, increase penalties for assaults on law enforcement, and surge federal prosecutors into high-crime communities. We will ban deadly Sanctuary Cities, and ensure that federal healthcare is protected for American citizens — not illegal aliens."...
"This is the unifying national agenda that will bring our country together," Trump said.
