Anyone tried or know someone using Blinkist or Short Form?

I've been hearing ads for this app Blinkist or Short Form. Has anyone given them a try?

I don't think the idea is new at all, but basically they're highly condensed versions of non-fiction books into 20 minutes or so.

I'm highly skeptical that you'd get enough out of something this shortened to feel any more informed or retain the information long-term. On the other hand though, my list of non-fiction books on business and self-improvement is overwhelming and I'm kind of bummed about it. Wondering if it's worth a go to get the gist of some of these books, and perhaps decide if they're worth a full read.

I like the concept. There are also "key ideas" audio books that run $5 vesus the full version at $25-$30. Digital Cliff's Notes I suppose. Especially for business books.

    AudioTech is another one.

    But no, haven't tried them.
I wanted to be a Monk, but I never got the chants.
