I wanted to be a Monk, but I never got the chants.
Not as it is setup right now. The draft date is on the league homepage. You dont have to be there though, usually the team ends up just fine with pre-ranking. I like to be there live so I know how long I can wait before drafting for spots on my roster that I think are less valuable.
I was wondering how they were gonna handle all the positions. Football is far more complex than baseball in that respect. I thought it was kind of funny that they rank an entire defense instead of individual defensive players, but then again, how can a defensive tackle score points for you in stats? Either the D works as a whole or it doesn't work at all. And there's nothing regarding the offensive linemen anywhere, but again, how do those individual positions score? So I guess I understand the setup as it is.
Besides, filling positions on an offensive line and an entire defensive structure and keeping track of them all would be an absolute nightmare.
I actualy find fantasy football alot either to do. Defense scoring really isn't that complex. Really you want to draft one defense that overall is good like the Steelers or Ravens. Also you don't want to draft a defense earlier especially in this league were one a few people are going to play. The scoring structure is pretty clear and easy to understand:

Also in the pass, I believe a punt return ends up as a defensive TD

2? How the hell can you have a full team with only two spots on the roster?

we don't draft individual defensive players
How many roster spots in total do we have to play with, bench players included?
How many QBs? How many RBs? How many FBs? How many WRs? How many TEs? How many Ks? How many DEFs?
