The officer warned her and warned her but at the same time I feel like the officer could have handled the situation better without it resulting in this violent outcome.

Ya I hesitated to say that because this lady is a complete fool and ran from the cops which is the dumbest thing you could do. But I have to say, I'd only give this cop's de-escalation skills about a 5/10 I'm sure playing it back, even he would have to wonder to himself "I wonder if I couldn't done anything better back there that didn't result in so much paperwork"

In the beginning he could/should of done a better job explaining that signing the ticket isn't admission of guilt, just proof that she received it. And he could have calmly explained the consequences of not signing.
IMO He kinda jumped in head first going from sign the ticket to you're under arrest. Everything after that point is all on her.
