    That'd be cool if they could do it in our lifetime. I think they'll need to absolutely perfect rocketry first though... can you imagine a ship loaded with tons of nuclear waste needing to abort launch over the US or the ocean? Bad news

    Pretty cool work being done to burry it so it's safe for thousands of years, but the interesting problem there is what if we forget about it and humans in the far future stumble across it thinking it's treasure, say for example like we did with the Pyramids? How do we write warnings on them so that they're universally heeded, regardless of language or culture. Interesting problem to think about.
