‘Drunk woman sexually assaulted fellow passenger during late night train journey’

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of sexual assault after she was filmed clashing with passengers on a train.
The woman, identified in the media as Zadie O’Connell, 24, was videoed arguing with commuters on a c2c train between Fenchurch Street and Pitsea on Wednesday evening.
Footage shows Ms O’Connell shouting at and pushing passengers just before 7pm.
In one clip, she is filmed shoving a man and telling him ‘come on then, take me’.
In another, she appears to put her hand on one man’s shoulder, before asking him: ‘You think you can decide when something in [sic] this planet matters?’
After she continues to shout and wave her hands in his face, he tells her to calm down.
In a third piece of footage, she puts her face up to the camera and tells the man behind it: ‘Yeah, film me. What? Yeah, go on. What?
‘What the f**k are you going to do?’
The passenger who filmed the incident, told MailOnline: ‘I was minding my own business yet this girl was upsetting everyone and at the end of the day, you have to take a stand.
‘I suggested she get off at Barking, Purfleet and other stops.
‘She smacked me in the face twice and grabbed a security guard.
‘I’ve been there before and nothing happened so I walked away.’
British Transport Police said a female passenger, 24, was arrested on suspicion of two counts of sexual assault and four counts of common assault.
British Transport Police said: ‘A 24-year-old woman is in custody this afternoon, after being arrested in connection to an incident on board a C2C train yesterday evening (04/12).

The incident happened on a c2c train last night between Fenchurch Street, London and Pitsea,
Essex at around 7pm
The woman, who is from Bowers Gifford, was arrested on suspicion of two counts of sexual assault and four counts of common assault.
‘She remains in custody as enquiries continue.
‘Anyone who witnessed what happened is asked to contact BTP by sending a text to 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 502 of 03/12/2019.’
Police added that the woman had been bailed pending further enquiry.
